From July 3-5, the 20th Asean Sustainable Energy WEE grandly opened in Bangkok. As the largest and most prestigious energy exhibition in Thailand, it has gained strong support from the local Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Industry, and high recognition from numerous professionals in the energy sector.
Sunrise showcased the M10 module Aquaman Series TOPCon bifacial double glass, and the G12 module Zeus Series TOPCon bifacial double glass at booth J45 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, heralding a low-carbon future for Southeast Asia with clean green energy.
According to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) report, Thailand's photovoltaic (PV) market is primarily driven by Small Power Producers (SPPs) and Very Small Power Producers (VSPPs), while the potential for rooftop PV is gradually being developed. The cost of photovoltaic systems has significantly decreased in recent years, making solar installations more affordable for households and businesses, resulting in a promising market outlook.
Forecasts indicate that by 2040, Thailand's photovoltaic capacity will grow to 27.8 GW, accounting for 30% of the total installed capacity. This demonstrates that Thailand's PV market will continue to expand and play an important role in the energy structure.
Sunrise is dedicated to continuous efforts in the photovoltaic sector, providing reliable PV solutions to global customers with high-efficiency and robust products and ongoing technological innovation, supported by intelligent manufacturing lines. By the first quarter of 2024, Sunrise's product sales and service network had already covered over 120 countries and regions worldwide. Upholding the mission of "Create a sustainable future," we will continue to empower the global green energy transition and contribute to building a zero-carbon world.
